On Thursday, 12 December 2024, MDPI and Separations organized a webinar entitled "A Celebration of Separations' 10th Anniversary I".
Please find the closing summary by our Chair, Dr. Sascha Nowak, below.
After Mr. Artan’s presentation on MDPI and the journal Separations, Prof. Dr. Marriott and Prof. Dr. Rosenberg presented some of the latest advancements in gas chromatography. During the Q&A session, the transfer of two-dimensional gas chromatography to pyrolysis applications was discussed due to the complex fingerprints it generates and the additional separation power it offers. Furthermore, the possibility of adapting the new modes and fast operation of gas chromatography for the analysis of small and permanent gases was also discussed, in addition to the application of different detectors and column arrangements.
The webinar was hosted via Zoom and required registration to attend. The full recording can be found below. In order to learn about future webinars, you can sign up to our newsletter by clicking “Subscribe” at the top of the page.
