5th Symmetry Webinar

What Comes Beyond the Standard Models?

The Webinar is aimed to give some flavour of the exploration of the fundamental relationship of cosmology and particle physics and some examples of approaches to solve the open problems of fundamental physics. We’d like to attract and involve the interested participants in the thorough discussion of what comes beyond the Standard models, being the exciting topic of our meetings at annual Bled Workshops. The fruitful results of such discussions can be considered for publication in the Symmetry special issue "Symmetry beyond the Standard Models of Cosmology, High Energy Physics and Quantum Field Theory".

Date: 10 June 2022

Time: 10:00 am CEST | 4:00 am EDT | 4:00 pm CST Asia

Introduction
Bio
M. Khlopov’s works reveal the fundamental relationship of cosmology and particle physics and develop the methods of cosmoparticle physics for its probe in cross-disciplinary studies of physical, astrophysical, and cosmological signatures.

Invited Speakers

Department of Physics, University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia

Introduction
Bio
Prof. Dr. Norma Susana Mankoc Borstnik works on quantum mechanical problems of unification of fundamental fields of Nature. She proposed the Spin-Charge-Family theory, the theory which is offering answers to all the open questions of the Standard model of the elementary particle and fields, and so far also on many open questions of the Cosmology. Within this theory she proposes the new way of the second quantization of fermions and bosons, offering the explanation for the Dirac's postulates of the second quantization of fields.

Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, Denmark

Introduction
Bio
Prof. Holger Bch Nielsen was among the first to propose string theory and has the name asigned to ANO-strings (= Abrikosov Nielsen Olesen vortex lines), Nielsen-Ninomiya no go theorem, KNO scaling, Froggatt Nielsen mechanism for masses of quarks and leptons, Koba Nielsen variables in Veneziano model theory.
