2nd Vaccines Webinar
The Post-marketing Life of Vaccines
Dear Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to announce the upcoming webinar “The post-marketing life of vaccines”, to take place virtually on 27 April 2022, at 2pm CEST = 8am (EDT) = 8pm (CST Asia).
The webinar is organized with the support of MDPI’s journal Vaccines, one of the most important international scientific journals in the field of vaccinology.
The recent experience with the SARS-COV-2 pandemic and the universal mass vaccination that was carried out to fight this emergency is an important lesson for vaccinologists.
Vaccines against SARS-COV-2 were prepared in 8 months and much of the information about the safety, long-term immunogenicity and effectiveness of these vaccines came from post-marketing studies.
Therefore, the research into vaccines does not stop after marketing authorization; important evidence can come from post-marketing and phase IV studies.
Three important scientists will discuss these topics for 20 minutes, in a live presentation on Zoom. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, where you will be able to share your thoughts with the speakers. The webinar will be recorded and uploaded to Sciforum.
We look forward to meeting you at the webinar.
