On Tuesday, 28 June 2022, MDPI and the Clinical Medicine Journal organized the 8^th webinar on Clinical Medicine, entitled "Highlights in Coronary and Peripheral Artery Disease".

The introduction was held by the Chair of the webinar, Prof. Dr. Tommaso Gori. He is Professor of Cardiology at the University of Mainz. The first speaker was Dr. Clara Bonanad Lozano with her presentation "Antitrombotic therapy in elderly patients, All suits for the same Patient?". She is Clinical Cardiologist at the Hospitalization Unit of Cardiology, University Clinical Hospital of Valencia. The second presentation was held by Dr. Christian Behrendt with his presentation "From guidelines to everyday clinical practice: How can real world data and risk prediction support treatment decisions in patients with peripheral arterial disease?". He is senior consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon and deputy clinic director of the department of vascular medicine at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany. The last presenter Dr. Albert Ariza Sole talked about "Cardiogenic shock due to Acute Coronary Syndrome: current status". Since 2018 he is President of the ACute Cardiac Care Group of the Spanish Society of Cardfiology and since 2020 he is Head of the Critical and Intermediate Cardiologic Care Area.

The presentations were followed by a Q&A and a discussion, moderated by the Prof. Dr. Tommaso Gori. The webinar was offered via Zoom and required registration to attend.
