Welcome from the Chair

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the MDPI journal Toxics (ISSN: 2305-6304; Impact Factor: 3.5) and its Scientific Committee, I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd International Online Conference on Toxics. This meeting will be held online from 8-10 September 2025.

The aim of this platform is to bring together students, researchers, and scientists from around the world to present their work and exchange ideas on the exposure, effects, and risks of chemicals and materials on humans and the natural environment, as well as on the development of new approaches to assess and/or manage the toxicological and ecotoxicological risks of chemicals and materials. The topics are organized into six sessions, corresponding to the following journal Sections:

1. Exposure Pathways – Air and Water Contamination
2. Molecular Stressors – Nanoparticles, Mixtures, and Persistent Pollutants
3. Cutting-Edge Approaches in Pharmacology & Toxicology
4. Pesticides, Pollutants, and Health Risk
5. Exploring Non-Model Species for Ecotoxicology
6. Bridging Science and Policy – New and Upcoming Regulations

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee and, if accepted, authors can choose to submit proceedings papers or posters, potentially alongside a PowerPoint and/or video presentation of their work. All accepted abstracts will be published as one dedicated volume in the Proceedings journal (ISSN: 2504-3900).

The 2nd International Online Conference on Toxics offers you the opportunity to participate in this international, scholarly conference without having the concern or expenditure of travel fees. We would like to invite you to “attend” this conference by presenting your latest work. Abstracts (in English) should be submitted online before 9 May 2025.

Kind regards,
Dr. Natalia Garcia-Reyero
