Professor of Electronics at University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Naples, Italy
Nunzio Cennamo was born in Italy in 1975. He received the master degree in Electronic Engineering in 2002 and the PhD degree in Electronic Engineering in 2005, both from the Second University of Naples, Naples, Italy. He is a full Professor in Electronics at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Naples (Italy). His research interests include the design and fabrication of optical sensors, chemical sensors, biosensors and optoelectronic devices. He is the author of more than 210 international journal and conference papers and 12 patents. He is cofounder of the Spin Off "MORESENSE srl" in Milan (Fondazione Filarete, Milan - Italy). He is an Associate Editor of “Photonics Research” (OSA), of “Applied Sciences“ (MDPI), and "Sensors" (MDPI). He is an Organizer and General Chair of several Internation Conferences, the “IEEE Sensor Applications Symposium” (SAS 2024), Naples (Italy) July 23-25, “7th International Symposium on Sensor Science” (I3S 2019) 9-11 May 2019, Naples (Italy), and of four editions of the “International Electronic Conference on Applied Sciences” (ASEC 2021, ASEC 2022, ASEC 2023, ASEC 2024). He is a Publicity Chair of two editions (the 6th and 7th) of the “IEEE International Symposium M&N (18-20 July 2022 Padua - Italy and 3-5 July 2024 Rome - Italy). He is several times an Invited Speaker in Webinars, Summer Schools, and International Conferences. He is an Organizer/Chair of several Special Session in International Conferences and a Member of several Scientific Committees. He is a Principal Investigator of several national Projects and Coordinator of the Local Unit of national and international Projects (total budget about 2M Euros).

Robert M. Berne Cardiovascular Research Center, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, USA
Dr. Toldo, an Italian native, received an MS degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2006 and a Ph.D. degree in Cellular and Molecular Cardiology from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome, in 2010. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University Pauley Heart Center, in 2015 Dr. Toldo became Assistant Professor of Medicine at the same institution. In 2021 he was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor and in 2023 moved to the Robert M. Berne Cardiovascular Research Center at the University of Virginia. The research focus of Dr. Toldo is oriented toward understanding the mechanism by which stress signals and myocardial injury lead to activation of the local and systemic inflammatory response that affects the heart function and structure.

Registration
The registration for ASEC2025 will be free of charge! The registration includes attendance to all conference sessions.
If you are registering several people under the same registration, please do not use the same email address for each person, but their individual university email addresses. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that the submission and registration are two separate parts. Only scholars who registered can receive a link to access the conference live streaming. The deadline for registration is 5th December 2025 .
Instructions for Authors
ASEC2025 will accept abstracts only. All abstracts accepted for presentation will be collected in a book of abstracts, which will be published on Sciforum.net during and after the conference.

For specific submission steps, please refer to the poster submission guidelines.
It is the author's responsibility to identify and declare any personal circumstances or interests that may be perceived as inappropriately influencing the representation or interpretation of clinical research. If there is no conflict, please state "The authors declare no conflicts of interest." This should be conveyed in a separate "Conflict of Interest" statement preceding the "Acknowledgments" and "References" sections at the end of the manuscript. Any financial support for the study must be fully disclosed in the "Acknowledgments" section.
MDPI, the publisher of the Sciforum.net platform, is an open access publisher. We believe authors should retain the copyright to their scholarly works. Hence, by submitting an abstract to this conference, you retain the copyright to the work, but you grant MDPI the non-exclusive right to publish this abstract online on the Sciforum.net platform. This means you can easily submit your full paper (with the abstract) to any scientific journal at a later stage and transfer the copyright to its publisher if required.
Publication Opportunity
Participants in this conference are cordially invited to contribute a full manuscript to a Special Issue published in Applied Sciences (ISSN: 2076-3417; Impact Factor: 2.5), with a 20% discount on the publication fee. All submitted papers will undergo MDPI’s standard peer-review procedure. The abstracts should be cited and noted on the first page of the paper.
Please note if you have IOAP/association discounts, conference discounts will be combined with IOAP/association discounts. Conference discounts cannot be combined with reviewer vouchers.
