Abstract: Nature is a rich source of products with interesting and useful biological activity. In the field of crop protection natural products and analogues have successfully been introduced to the market to control insect pests, plant diseases and weeds. The search for new natural products with promising activity continues in academia and in industry, to initiate and to foster novel, ecologically and economically sound crop protection solutions.
