World Equine Veterinary Association
Founded in 1985, the World Equine Veterinary Association (WEVA) is an international association dedicated to advancing the health and welfare of horses worldwide through high-quality, evidence-based continuing education. WEVA provides a global platform for knowledge exchange, professional development and collaboration among equine veterinarians and veterinary organisations. Through its World Congresses, Intermediate Meetings, educational resources and international partnerships, WEVA promotes scientific excellence and practical skills development, with particular emphasis on expanding access to equine veterinary education in regions where comprehensive training opportunities are limited.
Malaysian Veterinary Medical Association
Registered on January 23, 1989, under the Societies Act 1966, the Malaysian Veterinary Medical Association (MAVMA) serves as the professional body for veterinary surgeons registered with the Malaysian Veterinary Council, while also welcoming veterinary scientists, students, and affiliated organizations.
